Can't get enough of Eason

Cousin Rain is my first relative neighbor. I instill the love of american music and she instill the love of manga and Eason Chan. Back in the days of Happy Ferris Wheel, Cousin Rain and I made a pact that we will go to Hong Kong one day to see his concert. It seems a far fetch dream as Air Asia hasn't operate yet.

We eventually went to Hong Kong in 2011 but not to watch Eason. It's to watch Wong Tze Wah. Don't know how that happen actually but this post is not about Tze Wah. Eason did come to Kuala Lumpur for the first time to promote U87 in 2005. During that period I saw him 2 times, once during his album promotion, quite close and the second time in his concert at Bukit Jalil- not so close. Can't afford anything beyond RM200.00. I think Rain and me only got the middle seats.

Fortunately now I am in a better financial position and but still can only afford mid range seats. Damn inflation. This time I watched Eason with Nite. I know Rain wanted to watch as well but can't find kaki. How I wish she can join us!

Concert opened late and he mostly sang a lot of new songs which unfortunately I don't quite know but I enjoy all the same. If I did the song list, he will be singing all Cantonese. As it is the producers mixed in Cantonese and mandarin to cater to a wider audience. Oh well have to try and please everyone. Eason is the ultimate entertainer and deserves every single award. I totally like his style of music and the way he engage his fans.

Cousin Rain said this could very well be Eason's last concert as he is having mid life crisis. He achieved what he wanted and he doesn't know if he should continue what he is doing or something else.

How does it feel to achieve your dreams?
